Ion International Training Center

Ion International Training Center is a year-round, twin sheet indoor ice rink and Arena, serving recreational and professional figure skaters, ice dancers, pair skaters, synchronized skaters, and hockey players of Loudoun County, VA and around the world. One rink is encircled by Grandstand stadium seating, with a maximum 5,500 seats providing fans and Loudoun County residents a venue to enjoy a wide variety of activities and events.

These activities include Hockey Games & Tournaments, Figure Skating Shows, Conventions and Competitions, Any In-door Sport’s Tournament, Concerts and other entertainments.

Ion International Training Center also draws and serves athletes from around the world who seek world-class facility, coaching and training.

Full service Gym equipped with state of the are cardio, stretching and weight equipment.

Luiz Taifas

Luiz Taifas is the visionary behind Ion International Training Center. As an Olympic figure skating athlete, Luiz has travelled to and competed in 58 countries. For the past 19 years, he has served in various capacities in the ice skating industry. These roles have included coaching, elite training, and Judging.

Luiz Taifas is a globally recognized figure in the industry, who recognized the need and demand for an Olympic caliber facility and operations in this region. He created Ion International Training Center in response to our community's demands and particular needs.
